Open Shut Them

Students in Kindergarten spend a lot of time working to develop fundamental music skills including singing and keeping a steady beat. We have been practicing "Open Shut Them" for the first month of school and students are ready to perform by themselves. It is scientifically proven that children internalize and develop music skills more effectively when they perform independent of an adult. The students performing in this video are singing and showing hand motions all on their own!
